Massage Therapy

At Moving Synergy, the primary focus of massage therapy sessions is to promote proper posture alignment. We do this by restoring joint mobility and positioning by relieving muscle tension and restrictions. The combination of massage therapy and posture alignment therapy is very effective in restoring the balance of strength and flexibility you need to maintain proper posture alignment. And that's what keeps you pain-free!

Sessions

On your first visit, you will fill out a brief health history form and we will discuss your current issues and concerns. We will then discuss the plan for your session: the body areas of focus and the massage techniques to be used (they may include various techniques such deep tissue work, stretching, and fascial release).

You will be left to undress privately to your level of comfort and get on the table under a sheet. You will be covered with a sheet (draped) at all times; only the body part being worked will be uncovered. After the massage session, you will be left to dress in private.

Depending on the extent of your issues and the rate of progress you'd like to make, we may recommend that you return for one or more sessions. (See Pricing for discount rates.) The final decision is yours, of course. You know what works best for you.

Just want to relax?

If you just want to take a break and simply relax, we also offer relaxation massage. While we don't offer spa treatments, if you want a really great massage to relieve your stress and work out all those kinks, we've got you covered!

Already have a massage therapist you love?

Wonderful! If you are only interested in Posture Alignment Therapy, we'd love to work with you. At your request, we'd be happy to discuss the program and your menu of exercises with your current massage therapist so you can receive the best treatment possible.
